Update 25/06/2020

Dear guests,

Although we have been preparing ourselves for a potential late start of the 2020 season in accordance with WHO directives and Greek government covid-19 operational protocols (Health First Certification), we consider that the virus is still a significant risk to all of us.

After serious and strenuous consideration we believe that we have come to the right but painful decision in order to safeguard our guests and personnel, and therefore it is with great sorrow that we announce that the Messonghi Beach will not operate for 2020 season.

For all remaining 2020 bookings the 18 month vouchers will be in effect in compliance with Greek legislation.

We apologize for all the inconvenience caused but we are sure that you all understand that the cause of the problem is beyond our reach of influence.

Health is for us of outmost importance and for this reason we will continue to prepare ourselves for the 2021 season in order to be able to welcome you to our hotel with joy as we have been doing until now, hopefully in a safer worldwide environment.

Update 29/04/2020

Dear Guests,

While worldwide efforts against covid-19 are culminating we still do not have a set date for the opening of resort Hotels in Greece.

It is now clear to all that the restart of the tourism industry requires the combined efforts and coordination between several countries.

New hotel operation protocols are under study and we are closely monitoring these efforts.

In this context the Messonghi Beach Hotel is definitely unable to operate before 1/6/20. Greek government is estimating to allow operation of resort hotels between mid-June to beginning of July.

Meanwhile, for all bookings already cancelled and those that will be cancelled in the near future, our guests will be receiving soon a voucher for money deposited in compliance with Greek legislation.

If the voucher is not used during the following 18 months a full refund will be made.

In the meantime keep safe.
